The importance of situation understanding in the fire & rescue service

Situation awareness and understanding are vital parts in decision making for the fire and rescue service. Six European countries have participated in a project to develop a tool which provides insight in the way we understand incidents and makes it possible to train situation understanding. In this international seminar the aim and results of the project will be shared and questions can be put to the project team.

For whom?

The target audience of this online conference are firefighters and academics that work in the field of operational decision making.

Program: the latest developments, results and insights

Ricardo Weewer, Professor of Fire Service Science at the Netherlands Institute for Safety, is the host of this meeting. In various brief talks, speakers from the six European countries share the results of the project. Of course, it is also possible to ask the speakers questions.
