On 4th November 2022, the FEU and IAFC signed a MoU to outline arrangements and responsibilities with regard to cooperation and the sharing of research and data for the purpose of reducing fire risks and improving life and fire safety for all citizens in partner country communities now and in the future.

In particular, these cooperation agreements facilitate three - more specified - strategic objectives: Improving the position of the fire service in the legislative and policy debate, developing fire service leadership, and being a strategic hub for fire officers from both sides internationally by creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, research and experiences; physically, virtually and digitally.

The MoU was signed by Stephan Wevers/president FEU and mrs Donna Black/president herein represented by Ken Stuebing/past president at the FEU Council meeting in Madrid.
